YOGA TREKKING

www.yogatrekking.com was created in 2005 when Janga Bahadur Shahi was visiting France with the support of his spiritual French yogi father : Eric Lon.

On this website you will discover the beauty and the variety of the Southern mountains of France, with several treks. Even if you are not planning to visit France, it is a way to know another part of the world connected with Yoga.

Yoga is in perfect connection with trekking, hiking, mountaineering.

The breathing yoga exercises, Pranayama, are very efficient to walk more easily in the mountains.
Stretching the body with Asanas is efficient to lessen the effects of long walks and treks in altitude.

Yoga trekking in Nepal Annapurna, Everest...

Trekking is attracting many foreigners in Nepal, mainly in Annapurna and Everest regions.

The trekkers are not used to combine Yoga and Trekking, but Eric Lon, who has more than 30 years of experience in Yoga and in Trekking is busy changing this habit by mixing these two practices.

At spring 2008, Eric and Janga have done beautiful yoga photos in Annapurna and Everest regions to spread information all over the world through Internet.

The President of TAAN is involved in combining these two activities with new mountains sports activities proposed by Eric Lon to attract more sports tourists and to make them interested to practice Yoga in Nepal.
